Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: July 17, 2026
This Policy explains how cancellation, non-payment, refunds, and chargebacks work for Qurbo paid plans. It is part of the Qurbo Terms of Service; if they ever disagree, the Terms control.

1) The one thing to know first
Your published QR codes keep working. Whatever happens to your subscription - you cancel, a payment fails, you get a refund, you file a chargeback - a scan of a published code keeps reaching the last destination you set. That is a commitment in our Terms (Routing continuity, Terms Section 6), with narrow exceptions for abuse, illegal content, and legal orders. Losing paid access limits features (editing, new publications, advanced routing, analytics depth). It never kills your printed codes.
2) How to cancel
Cancel any time from your billing settings, or email care@qurbo.ai from your account email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: until then you keep your plan's features and any remaining publication allowance, and you are not charged again.
3) What happens when paid access ends
When your paid period is over (after cancellation, or after failed payment - see Section 4), your workspace's paid QR codes enter a frozen state:
- destination editing is disabled;
- publishing new codes is disabled;
- advanced routing rules are disabled;
- analytics visibility drops to Free-plan terms;
- default routing continues - every published code keeps redirecting.
Resubscribing unfreezes the same codes with the same IDs (codes frozen by a refund or chargeback - Sections 5 and 6 - are restored only through support). Nothing is deleted by lapsing. Free or frozen codes may show a brief Qurbo-branded notice page before your destination (Terms Section 6); active paid codes never do.
4) Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails (for example, an expired card), we retry and notify you for 7 days while your plan keeps working. If payment does not succeed within the grace period, your workspace moves to the frozen state described in Section 3.
5) Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unused time, or unused publication allowance. Publication allowance consumed by publishing is consumed (Terms Section 5.2); cancellation does not return it. Two exceptions:
1. Billing errors. If you believe a charge is wrong (for example, a duplicate charge), email care@qurbo.ai with the invoice details. Confirmed errors are corrected, including by refund to the original payment method.
2. Mandatory law. Where the law of your country gives you a non-waivable refund right, we honor it.
If a refund is issued for a subscription period, the QR codes published under that subscription enter the frozen state (Section 3) - features off, routing on.
6) Chargebacks
Contact us first - most billing issues are fixable in one email. If you file a chargeback and it succeeds, the codes tied to the charged-back subscription are frozen exactly as in Section 5; their routing continues. We may take account-level action (up to termination) only for chargeback abuse or fraud, per Terms Section 10 - and even then, routing continuity's exceptions in Terms Section 6 are the only grounds for stopping a published code.
7) Plan and price changes
Plan or price changes apply from your next renewal, never mid-term (except for security or legal necessity). If a change materially reduces your plan, we give advance notice and you can cancel before it takes effect (Terms Section 5.7).
