What is a static QR code?
A static QR code stores the destination or text directly in the image. There is no redirect service in between, so the QR cannot be edited after download.
Does this free QR code use a Qurbo redirect?
No. The QR content is encoded directly into the PNG. It does not use a Qurbo short link or dynamic redirect.
Will this QR code expire?
No. Never. This is a true static QR code: the URL or text is encoded in the image itself, so there is no server, account, or subscription that can switch it off. It will scan forever, as long as the destination you encoded still exists.
Why do QR codes from other free generators stop working?
Most free QR generators actually give you a dynamic QR code that routes every scan through their redirect server as part of a trial, and when the trial ends the redirect - and every printed copy of your code - stops working unless you pay. The QR codes made here are static, with the content encoded directly in the image, so there is no trial and nothing to expire.
Can I edit the destination later?
